About Us

The Executive Home Care experience is steeped in understanding of aging, and it comes from a place of genuine compassion for our fellow human being. With every interaction we have with our clients, we express our desire to improve their lives however we can.

We are guided by a unified mission and set of three core values. These principles are communicated throughout our organization, from our home office throughout our network of local caregivers.

The Executive Home Care Mission

We work in a unique industry with unique opportunities to provide meaningful improvement in seniors’ lives. We also realize that this comes with great responsibility.

At Executive Home Care, our mission is to improve quality of life for our clients and their families while focusing on service excellence.

By ‘service excellence’ we don’t just mean showing up every day and meeting client needs. With every client visit, we bring our humanity with us. We view our clients as extensions of our family, and we treat them as if they were part of our own circle of friends.

…because that’s how we would want to be treated.

Service excellence also means delivering a memorable, exceptional experience not just for the senior, but for their family—the ones who think of them often and who want them to live their best life every day.

André Gorgenyi

Owner of Executive Home Care Northeast Greater Boston

My journey into executive home care business ownership stems from a deeply personal commitment to serving our most vulnerable populations, particularly seniors and individuals with disabilities. Growing up as the child of parents who escaped Communist Europe, I was instilled with profound values of compassion, duty, and care for elders and those less fortunate. This foundation led me to help build a specialized laundry and support service business for seniors and shut ins that grew from 32 clients in 1995 to over 3,100 clients by 2019. We recognized that by handling essential tasks like laundry, intake services, shopping, and errands, we could give seniors and individuals more precious time with their home health aides and families. What made this venture truly special was that we operated it as a ministry—caring not only for those we served but also for our employees, ultimately empowering an 11-year employee and first-generation American team member to purchase and elevate the business to new heights.

Over the past two decades, my philanthropic career has deepened my appreciation for the aging population and their families throughout the Greater Boston Northeast region. Through roles with organizations like The Salvation Army, The YMCA, higher ed, and the arts, I became a trusted advisor in securing charitable gifts while witnessing firsthand the challenges and needs facing our seasoned community members. My experience as a Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy and my success in complex fundraising has taught me the power of investing in people who care for those we care about. Now, as I transition into executive healthcare business ownership, I’m driven to create sustainable, compassionate solutions that honor the dignity of our elders while supporting the dedicated professionals who serve them. My goal is to build businesses that operate with the same ministry mindset that guided our laundry service: treating every client as family and every employee as a valued partner in our mission to enhance quality of life for those who have given so much to our communities. André lives in Northeast Greater Boston with his wife Melissa of 20 years and their three children, his mother, and their puppy. André is an active member of the Concord Chamber of Commerce and the Concord Rotary, and serves on the Board of Trustees for two nonprofit organizations.

Director of Operations and Staff Care

Caring for others has been an integral part of my life. With more than 24 years of experience in the nonprofit sector, I am honored to bring that same compassion and dedication to our clients—and to the caregivers who serve them each day. As the wife of a pastor and Army chaplain, I have been deeply involved in ministering to the needs of the most vulnerable in our communities, including the elderly and individuals with disabilities.

My passion for home care is also personal. In my grandmother’s later years, she needed additional support, and I witnessed from afar as my mother lovingly stepped into the role of caregiver. Living across the country, I helped where I could—through phone calls, technology, and emotional support—but it was difficult knowing I could not be physically present to share in the daily responsibilities my mother and her siblings carried.

We were blessed to have a home care agency assist a few times each week. I still smile when I remember my grandmother excitedly telling me that her “friends” were coming to help her tend her garden, carry laundry down the stairs, or make the soda drinks she loved. They were never a replacement for family—certain things, like coloring and setting her hair, were strictly my mother’s role—but they expanded my grandmother’s circle of friendship and support. Just as importantly, they gave my mother, who was also working as a nurse, a bit of breathing room and time for her own self-care.
It is my hope that our agency can offer that same kind of support to other families—enhancing the lives of those receiving care while lightening the load for the loved ones who walk alongside them. Tara lives in Northeast Greater Boston with her husband of 25 years, and has two adult children and one cat.

Anna Feirick

Administrative Assistant

My passion for home care began in college, when I accepted a companionship role for a family friend’s elderly father. Working with this first client sparked a powerful realization: seniors hold a priceless wealth of knowledge and life experience that is too often overlooked. This insight grew into a deep respect and commitment to serving older adults, motivating me to pursue further education and hands-on experience to meet their unique needs.

Over the past four years, my work in agency home care—along with certifications and home health aide experience—has only strengthened my desire to serve. Building genuine, lasting relationships has been the most rewarding aspect of my career, and I remain committed to the valuable work of advocacy and excellence in care that the seniors in our communities deserve.

We had an acute need when my 101 year old father fell and Executive Home Care were able to put in place their service within 4 hours. All of the caretakers were kind and gentle and and respectful. We appreciated all they did for us even on the day he died. They even checked in with us a number of times after he died to be sure we were okay. I highly recommend this caring group of caretakers and will certainly use them again in the future if needed.

Andre, Anna and the Executive Home Care Team were 100% there for us. I can't express enough how much the relief and peace of mind they gave to our family helped in making our dad's end of life easier for us to be there for him in a loving way while they were there to help with his care

Executive Home Care has been a great partner in my father’s care. They have worked closely with me at every step of my father’s care and have been accommodating with schedules. Having someone with my father has provided peace of mind that someone is with him for part of the week and gives me flexibility to balance work and his care. The Executive Home Care team also has provided great recommendations for managing my father’s dementia and contacts me if there are any issues. Their goal is to keep my dad at his home as long as it is practical and I rely on the expertise to let me know when it isn’t. I highly recommend Executive Home Care as a health care partner.

Our Values

Executive Home Care operates with guidance from three main values: Commitment, Compassion, and Quality of Care.

Our Commitment

Is, firstly, to the safety of our clients. Secondly, we are committed to their comfort and independence as much as is reasonably possible considering their condition and situation.

The Compassion

of our caregivers is what we look for when we hire them. We screen for people who are genuinely driven by a desire to connect with and support others, and it’s this compassion that shines through in their service to our clients.

Quality of Care

Refers to the technical nature of how our caregivers attend to our clients. This is where training and experience matter most. Providing a high quality of care ensures that our clients can relax more, breathe easier, and simply enjoy more of life.

Experience the Difference for Yourself

We realize you have a choice when it comes to arranging for home care for your loved one. We know there are plenty of providers in your area, each with their own unique benefits.

For us, it all comes down to the individual needs of each senior we serve. Putting these needs first is what sets us apart.
